Whatever your experience has been in therapy or what your thoughts are about getting help, we all need some support at times.

Remember everything you tell your therapist is confidential. Unless they believe you are endangering yourself or someone else, or they are ordered to disclose your information by a judge, they will never tell anyone (parents usually included) what you have said.

Some reasons people have gone to therapy are:

  • Everything you feel is intense
  • You’ve suffered a trauma and you can’t stop thinking about it
  • You have unexplained and recurrent headaches, stomach-aches or a run down immune system
  • You feel disconnected from previously beloved activities
  • Your relationships are strained
  • Your friends have told you they’re concerned

Whatever your reasons for reaching out, you have taken the first brave step in getting help.
